I haven't worn my hair straight and/or down in a few months so I'm not used to all this hair down my back. It was this long (or a little longer) before I cut it the first time about 2 years ago. When it's straight, I usually wear a pony ALL the time. I'm trying to get out of that and style it more. So since I've retwisted it on Sunday, I've been wearing it down. And it looks very nice if I do say so myself. But. . . . it's hot y'all. I'm loving my length but I'm hot. I will probably be rocking curls next week so my hair is not on my neck. Which leads me to ask. . .
How do you style your hair for the summer?
I talked to the bestie and her sister and they want to be featured here. Yay!! I will catch up with them soon and share their stories with you. My son, on the other hand, seems to be freeforming, cuz he does not want me to do anything to his hair. It hasn't been twisted since the end of January. It doesn't look bad so I'm not tripping. I'll at least get some pictures and tell his story.
Til next time, thanks for reading. Be blessed.
Yes, it does look good! My hair's only grazing my shoulders now so I have no tips whatsoever. I see myself doing the ponytail when it grows, thats's what I used to do back in the bad old 'relaxer' days.I am style-challenged. Maybe when you share your tips, I'll find inspiration for the future :)
ReplyDeleteI'm with you and totally not used to having straight locs either. And the heat is NO joke so up-do's are my best friend these days. Your locs look so beautiful and so healthy. I love those few dyed ends.
